Thank goodness I had company running this morning because it was just so cold. I ran to the bottom of my street and The Racy Runners expected time of arrival was exactly when she said she would arrive. We then headed off for the city thinking the streets would be less icy and the air a bit warmer with all the buildings about. Anyhow that theory didn’t quite work because by the time we came out of Glasgow Green I was freezing and my legs were feeling like ice blocks as we ran along the Clyde side. Then I noticed in the river mirror images of buildings and had to stop and take a few photos because it all looked rather magical. I think it was due to the cold air and stillness. When we got back to my house I was well pleased with myself having achieved 10 miles and on target with my London Marathon training. The Racy Runner had clocked up 14 with another 4 to do has she headed off to her own house. By the time she got there I was enjoying coffee and toast!
