I set out on my long run with the Speedy Strider and had good intentions to compete 13 miles. However I had to cut that to 5 because I now know having a huge bowl of lentil soup and eating three chocolate chip cookies the night before a long run is really not a good idea. I was pleased to reach home after 5 miles as my insides were in turmoil. I will now reschedule my long run for Friday.
