It was fine running with the wind behind me however a different story on the way back. I walked most of it!

The Speedy Strider and I ran 4 miles to two different chemists to pick up two essential prescriptions. On our way back we cut through Queens Park and ran up a very long hill which took us to a view point we didn’t know about. The sun was out and the sky clear of cloud. We were able to see all the way over to the west end picking out Glasgow University plus the Dumbarton Hills at least that’s what I think they’re called. I will need to check with MRSH later today!
Just as we were going up the hill for the second time we met a mum from the Speedy Striders childrens school. I had to contain my excitement as I noticed her GB running jacket and thought I would like one like that. However as she explained its origin I realised I would never in a million years be representing my country at an athletics event, unless maybe for the over 100 years catagory if I live that long!
I need to strengthen my arm muscles or I am never going to be able to carry my messages back from the shops!
