When I ran the park run this morning I really though my finishing time would put me first in my age group. Last week I was amazed at my result and came in 4th. This time I had a look out for people with grey hair and if I was able ran past them in the hope I would get a better place. Anyhow when the results came in I was 5th even although I had run the 5K route 3 minuets faster than last time!

Wild Flowers in the City...
Out on my run this morning I was delighted to find a patch of wild flowers on Helen Street and would really like to know how the council do it because I would love to have this wonderful display in my own garden. A few months ago I scattered two packets of wild seeds down at the back beside the wall and have managed to only grown a few daisies and one poppy!
Pollok Park Run...
Feeling rather pleased with myself this morning as I manage to come in 4th in my age group running the Pollok Park Run. However I have decided I am not going to find out how many other people within my age group actually ran the 5 K distance because I have a feeling there were not many!
July 13th, 2018
I have had a little break from running as we have had family here from Singapore. Now I am back on it with a run round Paisley looking for Lego dinosaurs. We managed to find 13 and run 8 miles!
To the Trig Point...
I drove to Andrea's house and we ran 7 miles up quite a few high hills. We even got to the trig point in Newton Mearns.
Queens Park Run...
I ran later this morning and did a route round the Southside taking in Queens Park and enjoying the warm weather and the lovely wild flowers all over the place.
